Praneeth Aleti - My Journey in Trading
My name is Praneeth Aleti, and I completed my graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University in 2010. From a young age, I was passionate about learning and excelled in various fields, particularly in mathematics and quiz competitions. Throughout my schooling, I received numerous awards, which ignited my interest in entrepreneurship. After graduation, I ventured into the IT sector and founded Abraham Trainings, an online IT training institution, where I currently serve as the Managing Director.
While I had always followed stock market news in the business columns of newspapers, I initially struggled to understand the complexities of the market. However, I was fascinated by the rapid changes in stock prices and the financial outcomes companies experienced in a single day. In 2017, I stumbled upon a YouTube video that sparked my interest in the stock market’s true potential. This piqued my curiosity, and I began dedicating myself to learning everything I could through books and various resources, gaining a solid understanding over time.
I started my trading journey in the Indian stock market, initially focusing on stocks. While I had both profits and losses, I began to understand how markets reacted to news and the significance of technical analysis. As I gained experience, I realized that technical analysis was the key to improving my trading consistency. I spent months mastering various indicators and chart patterns, but I faced challenges in the F&O segment due to its high volatility.
Seeking more stability, I turned to the commodity markets, where I found less manipulation and more predictable movements. I started focusing on Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Copper, Zinc, Aluminum, and Silver, as these commodities had fewer scripts to track, allowing me to concentrate more effectively. However, the higher trading capital required for these markets, along with the low leverage, presented challenges.
After months of dedicated research and analysis, I developed proven trading strategies that work consistently across different market segments. These strategies have helped me navigate stocks, commodities, and other financial instruments, and I started teaching others by conducting training sessions. To date, I have trained over 200 students, equipping them with the skills to succeed in trading.
In addition to commodities, I explored the Crypto and Forex markets, which presented an entirely new set of opportunities. With the higher leverage and liquidity in these markets, I further honed my skills in risk management and market analysis. My goal is to establish myself as a global trader, focusing on Crypto and Forex, as these markets offer substantial market cap, opportunities, and lower manipulation compared to traditional markets.
